Mildred Mitchell Bateman Hospital is a state-operated, psychiatric facility located in Huntington, WV.

**This position qualifies for a hiring incentive of $13,500, to the selected applicant who agrees to work for a minimum period of twelve (12) months**

General Description

This position will serve as a Nursing Supervisor in the Admissions and Referral Department. The supervisor assigns, distributes and reviews the work assignments of staff. This position will serve as the team leader for the Nurses in the department along with completing the initial nursing assessment/referral process. This position will complete competencies for staff in the Admissions and Referral Department and instruct staff on new policies and procedures, assist with policy development, coach employees, and ensure compliance with all pertinent regulatory bodies along with the responsibility for the care and safety of all patients at the hospital. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Nursing.

Experience: Four (4) years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in nursing.

Licensure/Certification: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure.

This is a tobacco free facility. Chosen applicants must successfully complete a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug screening test. All employees shall be subject to drug testing for probable cause as set forth in Agency and Bureau policies. Candidates must successfully pass a background screening. Must be able to work holidays and weekends. Mandatory overtime is an essential function of this position.

Pay: $77,520.00 - $116,280.00 per year
